Apple Health+ Leak: AI-Powered Health Coach Coming in iOS 19.4
According to Research Snipers, Apple is reportedly updating its Health app for iOS 19.4. The new version will include an AI-powered health coach feature on Apple Health+. This leak suggests that users may soon have access to personalized health guidance on their devices. The upcoming update could provide more advanced health tracking capabilities and insights for Apple users. It will be interesting to see how this new feature will enhance the overall user experience on Apple Health+.

Apple is working on a revision of its Health app for iOS 19.4. The central innovation is an AI-based health coach that gives personalized recommendations based on collected health data. The service is expected to become a paid subscription offer known as "health+." In Cupertino, there are plans for a significant expansion of Apple’s health strategy.
Project Mulberry: AI-Supported Coaching System
According to information from Cupertino, under the project name "Mulberry," there is a fundamental revision of the health app for iOS 19.4. The new version, scheduled to appear in spring or summer 2026, has at its core an AI-supported coaching system. The digital health coach evaluates data recorded by iPhone, Apple Watch, and compatible third-party devices to create individual recommendations to improve health.
Additionally, Apple offers expert videos that explain various health issues. Apple has set up its own studio in Oakland for producing video content, located around 80 kilometers from the Cupertino headquarters. Currently, the group is seeking a well-known personality from the health sector to serve as a moderator for the planned formats.
The AI system is currently being trained with the support of Apple’s own doctors. In the future, external experts from areas such as sleep, nutrition, physiotherapy, cardiology, and mental health are expected to expand the system with their expertise. An important innovation is the increased integration of nutrition data, which played a subordinate role in the previous Health app.
The revised app also utilizes the iPhone camera to provide feedback on training units. This function could later be incorporated into Apple Fitness+. The extended health functions are expected to be part of a new subscription service temporarily referred to as "Apple Health+." Internally, the project is also known as "Quartz" and has been under development for several years.
Expansion of Subscription Services
The presentation of the new service could take place during WWDC 2025 in June, with a planned start in early 2026 with iOS 19.4. This expansion will add to Apple's portfolio of subscription services alongside Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Fitness+, while also enhancing the all-in-one bundle "Apple One" and Apple Intelligence.
This initiative underscores Apple’s long-term goal of establishing the Apple Watch as a comprehensive health monitor. While some earlier health projects, such as the development of a non-invasive glucose monitor, have not yet reached market maturity, the AI-based health coach could be an important milestone in Apple's health strategy.
